S?r / Sure

法語的“s?r”和英文的“sure”含意類似，都可以譯成“肯定，確信”，許多情況下都可以有聲翻譯，比如：

1.Je crois que j’ai une réunion vendredi, mais je ne suis pas s?r. I think I’ve got a meeting on Friday, but I’m not sure.

我星期五應(yīng)當(dāng)有一個(gè)會(huì)，但不我不敢肯定。

2.Comment pouvez-vous être si s?r de gagner/que vous allez gagner ? How can you be so sure of winning/that you will win?

您如何那么肯定您會(huì)贏呢?

之上的語句，主語全是人，“s?r”和 “sure”表明對某件事，某結(jié)果“確信”， “沒有疑惑”。但要留意“s?r de verbe”和“sure to verb”的區(qū)別：

Il est s?r de gagner. He is sure of winning/that he will win.

他對獲勝很有機(jī)會(huì)。(他自己的分辨)

He is sure to win. Il va s?rement gagner/ c’est s?r qu’il gagnera/ il gagnera à coup s?r.

他肯定會(huì)贏。(他人對他的分辨)

假如語句的主語不是，法語的“s?r”一般也不譯為“sure”，想要譯為“certain，definite”等：

1.Ce n’est pas s?r qu’il revienne demain. It’s not certain/definite that he’s coming back tomorrow.

還不確定性他明日能不能回家。

2.Une chose est s?re, c’est qu’il n’aura pas le poste. One thing’s certain : he won’t get the job.

有一點(diǎn)是明確的：他無法得到那一個(gè)崗位。

法語的“s?r”也有“靠譜，值得信賴”的含意，一般譯為“reliable，dependable”等：

1.Sa mémoire, autrefois si s?re, lui faisait de plus en plus défaut. His memory, which had been so reliable/dependable, began to fail him more and more frequently.

之前他的進(jìn)行挺不錯(cuò)，而如今愈來愈差了。

2.Un adjoint s?r vaut son pesant d’or. A reliable/dependable/trustworthy assistant is worth his weight in gold.

一個(gè)靠譜的助手能幫你處理問題(是稀世珍寶)。

此外，法語的“s?r”也有“安全性，有*”的含意，一般譯為“safe, secure”等：

1.Il y a dix ans, ce quartier était très s?r, mais maintenant les agressions sont monnaiecourante. Ten years ago this was a very safe district, but nowadays mugging is a frequent occurrence.

十年前，這一區(qū)還很安全性。而如今打劫早已是家常飯了。

2.Cette marque de voiture est considérée comme très s?re. This make of car is considered to be very safe.

這一*品牌的汽車被覺得是十分安全性的。

3.J’enverraila lettre en recommandé, c’est plus s?r. I’ll send the letter by recordeddelivery. It’s safer that way.

這*封信我準(zhǔn)備寄掛號信，那般更安全性。
